Why "know Surrender" it is taken from a pamphlet I was given some years back and is a play on words. "No Surrender" is of course a well know phrase but to "know Surrender" that is to surrender your self to the Lord Jesus, the Christ is more than a well known phrase. It is the key to eternal life.
Know Surrender
Out of the frying pan and into the fire : Joseph’s Unwavering Dedication: Genesis 41
A discussion on a sermon titled "Faithful in the Fire: Joseph’s Dedication to God," offers a detailed theological exposition of the biblical account found in Genesis 41:1–36. The author uses Joseph's life, specifically his interpretation of Pharaoh’s dreams and the subsequent proposal of a plan to save Egypt, to illustrate what unwavering dedication to God looks like, even in dangerous circumstances. The text identifies several marks of Joseph's dedication, including faithfulness in obscurity during two years of prison silence, humility in deflecting credit for the interpretation, courage in truth-telling, and wisdom in applying God's revelation to offer a practical solution for the impending famine. The sermon concludes with an exhortation for listeners to adopt Joseph’s posture of courage, humility, and trust in God, always remembering to attribute wisdom to Him.
