Flee from Idolatry

This is a very important message. I do hope you can spend 20 minutes to listen. It was originally written by Bishop J C Ryle but is as valid today as it was in his time.

The sources pinpoint the natural corruption of man's heart as the fundamental cause of idolatry, noting its historical presence in the Old Testament and its gradual emergence within the Christian church. Specifically, the Roman Catholic Church is highlighted for its systematic idolatry through the reverence of images, saints, relics, and the host, and the role of priests as mediators, a practice the texts argue will only truly end with the second coming of Christ.
